M. Jayne LaDow: M. Jayne Ladow used to teach eleven to thirteen year-olds how to write essays and diagram sentences. Like Audrey, she participated in several tricycle basketball games and couldn’t walk afterwards, and coached many sports at the principal’s demand. Now she writes books about feisty women and the men who love them. She lives in Virginia in a tiny house with her husband, kids, three shelter cats, a tortoise, beardy, and a bunny who rules them all.
